It’s been a busy couple of months since our last newsletter. Our very first Breakfast At 7am (BA7) networking event at the Land and Sea Brewery was a great success, with over 50 members in attendance. The feedback we have received on the event so far has been very positive, and work on the next event (early October) is already underway.

The last Business After 5 (BA5) was also a big success, kindly hosted by Salt Property Services, and again promoting the strong business community that is thriving in the Noosaville industrial areas.

Our member numbers continue to grow, with 6 new members signing up over the last 2 months. We are very proud of this result and look forward to continuing this trend in the coming months.

As always, we encourage all members to share their opinions and thoughts on how the NBA can improve, which ultimately provides more benefit to our members.. Noosa Council Update

As part of our commitment to work closely with the Council to represent the voice of the Noosaville Business Community, the NBA committee met with Noosa Council during August.

The Noosa Council continues to have a strong interest in encouraging business activity in the Noosaville area, focusing on fostering job creation, capacity building, and economic growth.

Along with the usual guest speaker, the NBA has arranged for a Noosa Council representative to provide a brief update to members at the next BA7 event on the latest developments and initiatives currently in the pipeline for the Noosaville business precinct.


The next BA7 is now booked in.

Only 2 x members from each business will be admitted free. Any additional attendees from each business will be at a cost of $10 each. Card payment will be required on the day.

(If you sign up as a member on the day, the $10 will be waived  from your membership fees)

GUEST SPEAKER – The NBA is EXCITED to present Wade Grundon from the Sales Squad.

Wade will be talking on ideas and strategies that target small to medium size businesses, assisting them to grow business fast and fast track customer numbers.

Wade is a person who thrives on dealing with people and making a positive impact on their lives, Wade’s mission is to inspire people to achieve more. He has been in the front line of many companies managing and improving sales, be that one of his own 7 businesses or one of the 100’s of businesses he has directly consulted to over the past 12 years. With a straightforward sales philosophy, Wade believes that selling is about removing risk for a buyer and providing them a product or service that helps them achieve what they need.


The Annual General Meeting will be held on the 15th November and will be in conjunction with our next BA5 – Business After 5pm. Please mark your diary to attend this important meeting and then stay on afterwards and enjoy a social networking night with your new NBA Committee.

As always, whilst we have a hard working Committee, we are always seeking members with enthusiasm and available time to fill positions, contribute to the fresh ideas and work already underway from the previous committee.

If you think you have got what it takes, are able to volunteer your time, and want to contribute to your business community then please nominate. Our Committee meetings are held once per month in a relaxed environment. Plans are in progress for the next year and with your support, the NBA will continue to have an exciting future. There are a number of exciting projects happening in Noosaville at the moment that each and every business stands to benefit from.

To nominate, or vote at the AGM you must be financial to the 30th June 2019. Nomination and Proxy voting forms will be sent out to members soon.

You do not have to be a Committee Member to attend this meeting but it would really be appreciated if you can still attend as a minimum number of members is required.

Members are invited to the BA5 to come and network with other Noosaville businesses. Venue to be decided. Food and first drink will be supplied. Extra beverages will be available to purchase at bar prices.
